Busily jobless!

I guess the whole world knows now.... all second year students in NUS are swamped with work. Not a moment to spend jobless! But sometimes, we just sound jobless without intending to do so! (i know for sure i am not making sense here :P)

Andromeda and I were talking on messenger and basically clearing doubts on this not-so-mini project that we have. Finally we decided we wasted enough time talking about everything else under the sun and we needed to get back to work. So this is how we end the convo...

Andromeda: okie then... me getting back to hunting tiny critters
Me: Okie... me getting back to drawing trees

:

what that whole thing was supposed to mean....

Andromeda: I am going to get back to searching for information on the assigned bacterial species on PubMed
Me: I am getting back to doing multiple sequence alignment and constructing phylogenetic trees for the assigned organisms

Sometimes, even at our busiest moments, we sound so jobless!!! I am still highly amused! That convo just made my day! :D

Haha, the joys of being a life science student! Critters and trees, indeed. I wish it were as simple as that, though. Just thinking about BioInfo gets my blood pressure high. :-<

hahaha...truly hilarious.
i remember my chat with my nephew when audibles were introduced...it was on the spur of the moment and since both of us were new to the concept there was a laugh riot dialogue that ensued without typing a single word!

When you are totally stressed out, simple convos like this can make your day, I agree!
In between our other CAs, we had a 48 hour biochemistry take home assignment, and around 5 of us were having a joint convo on MSN discussing answers and the options A,B,C etc.. I still remember how much I laughed that day! Was too much fun!

One question was about some tomatoes being stored in the refrigerator - a few soaked in vinegar and about micro-organisms attacking the tomatoes that were not stored in vinegar or something like that..
And I said "what about the tomato?" and the reply was "ketchup" and what not nonsense.. lol.. we did have fun! [P.S. One option they actually provided for that question was - "the micro-organisms were drowned in the vinegar"! Lol!]

P.S. Word verification started with - Pjs.. lol..
